Where to pre-order Brand New Series 1?
Excitement is starting to build for Topps upcoming release of Garbage Pail Kids. A few places online already have their pre-orders up for Brand New Series 1. What's the best way to get in early before prices increase? Pre-order!
Things to keep in mind:
Will you get the product? - Ask around and get referrals from other collectors who've ordered from these companies. Find out if they always deliver on their pre-orders.
Shipping costs - Where is the company located? How fast do you want your boxes? Many companies will offer free shipping when spending over a certain dollar amount.
Price Match - Many companies will price match competitors posted website prices. Look for a contact e-mail address or phone number and contact for better pricing. Especially if you are placing a large order.
Here are some sites I have come across that are pre-selling Brand New Series 1. (Keep "Buyer Beware" in mind here. Some of these companies I've used in the past and others I haven't. Do your homework on these companies before order any product!)
BlowOut Cards - I may be biased but BlowOut gets the majority of my baseball card business. They will always deliver on pre-orders, and usually is the lowest price. Although in the case of GPK they are not. Try e-mailing them for better rates on multiple case orders.
Hobby Box - $47.99
Hobby Case - $359.99
Dave & Adams Cardworld - Another top notch unopened box website. I've used them in the past with no problems as well.
Hobby Box - $44.95
Hobby Case - $340
GPK Monster - I don't have any experience with this company, but I hear nothing but good things about them online. Other retail configurations are available.
Hobby Box - $43
Hobby Case - $334
Retail Box - $33
Retail Case - $510
Potomac Distribution - I don't have any experience with this company.
Hobby Box - $43
Hobby Case - $328
ToyWiz - I don't have any experience with this company.
Hobby Box - $49.99
Westfield Comics
Hobby Box - $47.40
eBay - Be leery when buying pre-orders off of eBay. Paypal will only allow disputes within 45 days of purchase. If you order something this early off of eBay, and the boxes don't show come October, you will not be able to dispute with Paypal.
Hobby Box - $55.99 - 64.98
