Update #1 - Reports have stared to surface that Garbage Pail Kids Brand New Series 1 is available in Wal-Marts and Targets in the US. More info as we confirm Retail odds and get picts.

Update #2 - eBay auctions have surfaced for Retail packs and Bonus boxes. Still waiting for single card auctions, odds, and checklist info. The seller does include some new pictures of cards.

More auctions began hitting eBay this evening as more people found retail packs at their local Wal-Mart/Target. Surprisingly nothing big has been listed yet. A few single cards, a lot of Adam Bomb Through History cards of all colors, and some individual packs/boxes. No sketch or Gold cards have surfaced yet.

I don't have a clear picture of a checklist to share yet. We also don't have a clear understanding of how many bonus cards exist in this year's series. Reports online state collectors are pulling bonus card 5a and 5b out of bonus boxes today. Topps sell sheet showed Bonus cards would be found in Hobby boxes. It appears it might be both. The same cards? Additional bonus cards? A & B bonus cards, that's a first!

Last night it only a handful of auctions hit eBay for Garbage Pail Kids Brand New Series 1. Tonight is a different story. Hobby boxes have begun to hit the streets as multiple auctions for just about anything and everything are starting to hit eBay. I've heard of one Printing Plate that's been pulled, don't have a picture yet. However, numerous sketches are starting to come out. Here's a few examples of some recent sketches to hit the internet.

Garbage Pail Kids BNS 1 Bonus Cards
So you want to collect the entire Garbage Pail Kids Brand New Series 1 set? Of course you do! If that's the case you need to get your hands on the Bonus Cards. Bonus cards have been part of GPK since ANS 1. This tradition continues with BNS 1, however with a little twist.

There are 12 Bonus cards for the new BNS 1 set. For the first time there are a & b varieties of Bonus Cards. Therefore, the cards are numbered B1a/b - B6a/b. The first 8 Bonus Cards are found randomly in Hobby boxes. While the last 4 Bonus Cards are found in the Bonus Blaster Boxes in retail stores. When buying Bonus Boxes you can narrow down your search based on the number right above the bar code (see below).

B1a - Mountain DEWEY - Randomly inserted into Hobby Boxes only.
B1b - BUBBA Bumpkin - Randomly inserted into Hobby Boxes only.

Has anyone ever pulled a gold card from a retail pack? I have opened around 300 packs, pulled 3 sketch cards but never a gold card. I have some 24 pack hobby boxes on the way so hopefully

I pulled 1 sketch card from a retail rack pack and 2 came from retail bonus boxes.

I pulled 4 gold cards this year our of BNS 1. I opened 2 cases of Hobby and some retail packs. No sketches for me though.
