With odds like 1:23,100 you'd have to open a lot of packs to pull one of these. With Brand New Series 1 Topps is running a contest where the lucky winner will get to "Be a Garbage Pail Kid" in BNS 2. Interesting contest, and seems fun. See below for pictures of the back of the card, including the contest rules. It appears there are only 10 contest cards inserted into Hobby and Retail packs. The first one is listed on eBay with a rather high BIN price.
There is a code on the card that gets entered on Topps' Facebook page to officially enter the contest. The winner will be chosen from whatever entries are submitted by 1/31/13. You got to think about this one. How many of these will be pulled by casual collectors or kids that might just think they pulled a generic contest card? How many of these will just sit in cases for years? More than likely not all 10 entries will be claimed. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
